ERGI Ltd. (ЕРГИ ЕООД) accepts the following payment methods for orders placed on https://ergi.bg. The methods actually available at checkout depend on the chosen shipping method — see the notes under each section.
1. Debit or credit card payment
We accept card payments under the Visa and Mastercard brands through the secure payment processor myPOS Limited (myPOS) — an electronic money institution licensed by the Central Bank of Ireland — E-Money Institution, ref. No. C475122.
All card transactions go through the 3-D Secure scheme — Visa Secure (formerly known as "Verified by Visa") and Mastercard Identity Check (formerly known as "Mastercard SecureCode"). This means that every payment is confirmed via an additional authentication step from your issuing bank (one-time code, push notification in the mobile banking app, or biometrics) before the transaction is approved.
Card payment is available at checkout for the following deliveries:
- Delivery via Speedy — to a Speedy office or to a postal address
- Delivery to a BoxNow parcel locker — card prepayment or cash on delivery
Card data security: when paying by card you are redirected to the secure myPOS Limited payment page, where you enter the card number, security code (CVV/CVC) and expiration date. This data never reaches the servers of https://ergi.bg and is not stored by ERGI Ltd.. On our side we retain only a transaction identifier, which allows us to issue a refund to the same card when needed — we do not store the card number, not even in masked form.
2. Cash on delivery
Available with Speedy shipping and with delivery to a BoxNow parcel locker.
With Speedy you pay the order amount upon receipt — in cash or by bank card (Visa, Mastercard) on the courier's POS terminal. The choice between the two is yours, made on the spot at delivery, and is not declared in advance when ordering. For card payments the transaction is processed by Speedy AD's payment processor, not by ergi.bg or myPOS. A cash-on-delivery fee per Speedy's tariff — 2.4% of the amount, min. €0.61 (BGN 1.19) (to an address €0.92 (BGN 1.80)) is added to the order total, calculated and shown on the checkout page before confirmation and paid together with the order amount.
With BoxNow you do not pay at checkout. Once the parcel arrives at your chosen locker, you receive an SMS/email/Viber message with a payment link and pay the amount online by bank card via that link (cash payment at the locker is not supported). After a successful payment you receive a PIN code to open the locker compartment. A cash-on-delivery fee per BoxNow's tariff — 1.2% of the amount, min. €0.31 (BGN 0.61) is added to the order total, shown on the checkout page before confirmation, and paid online together with the amount via the link.
3. What we do NOT accept
For convenience and security, ERGI Ltd. does not accept the following payment methods:
- Bank transfer — orders are not processed against a direct IBAN transfer. This is a product decision — the delay between the transfer instruction and its clearing complicates shipping, and reversing an incorrect transfer is a burden for the customer.
- PayPal — we have not integrated PayPal as a payment method.
- Cryptocurrencies — we do not accept payments in Bitcoin, Ethereum or other digital assets.
4. BoxNow delivery — payment methods
When BoxNow parcel-locker delivery is selected, you can pay in two ways: card prepayment via myPOS at checkout, or cash on delivery.
Card prepayment: you pay the amount online at checkout. After your order is confirmed and the payment has succeeded, you receive a unique PIN code by email and SMS, which you use to open the corresponding locker compartment.
Cash on delivery: you do not pay at checkout. Once the parcel arrives at the chosen locker, you receive an SMS/email/Viber message with a link through which you pay the amount online by bank card. After a successful payment you receive a PIN code to open the locker compartment. Cash payment at the locker is not supported. A cash-on-delivery fee per BoxNow's tariff — 1.2% of the amount, min. €0.31 (BGN 0.61) — is added to the amount, shown at checkout before confirmation.
5. Prices and currency
All prices on the site are displayed in euro (EUR) and Bulgarian lev (BGN) in parallel. The exchange rate is fixed by law at 1 EUR = 1.95583 BGN for the period of Bulgaria's accession to the eurozone. The final amount payable is the one shown on the checkout page before order confirmation.
VAT is included in the final price (20%) and is itemized on the issued invoice or sales receipt.
6. Refunds
When a product is returned in accordance with our Return Policy, the amount is refunded via the same method used for payment:
- Card payment → refund to the same card via myPOS (typically 5–10 business days, depending on your bank)
- Cash on delivery → refund to a bank account specified by the customer in writing
- Card at the courier's POS → refund to the same card via Speedy's system
On withdrawal from the contract, the refunded amount includes the cash-on-delivery fee and the cost of the standard delivery (Article 54(1) Bulgarian CPA). Only the supplementary cost is not refunded if you chose a delivery method more expensive than the standard one (Article 54(3) Bulgarian CPA). For an uncollected or refused cash-on-delivery parcel you have paid nothing, so there is no amount to refund.
